EMORY, Va. – The Virginia Wesleyan College Women's Soccer Team (5-3-1, 1-0-1 ODAC) scored  three goals in the first half as it defeated Emory & Henry College (3-7, 0-2 ODAC) Friday night in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match.

How It Happened
- Marli Hayward got the Marlins on the board in the 13th minute.
- VWC doubled its lead 54 seconds later on a penalty kick goal by Brooke Adamchak.
- At the 15:53 mark, Alexia Vassiliadis crossed a ball in from the right side to an awaiting Annie Hartman at the top of the box. Hartman's shot found the back of the net at the far post.
- Virginia Wesleyan added a score in the final half hour to make the final margin 4-0.
