DAY FOUR - MARCH 19, 2016 --- GREENSBORO, N.C. - Emory & Henry College junior Michaela Nolte (Hillsborough, N.C.) competed Saturday morning in the 200-yard breaststroke at the 2016 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships. Nolte posted a time of 2:20.75 which was 17th fastest in preliminaries.

Nolte is the first alternate going into this evening's finals, and will swim if one of the top 16 qualifers is unable to compete.

DAY THREE - MARCH 18, 2016 --- GREENSBORO, N.C. - Emory & Henry College junior Michaela Nolte (Hillsborough, N.C.) competed on Friday morning in the 100-yard breaststroke. Notle posted the 18th fastest time in preliminaries, swimming a 1:04.49.

By virtue of her finish, Nolte is the second alternate heading into tonight's finals and will swim if there happens to be an injury or withdrawal from two of the finalists.

Nolte's next swim will be on Saturday morning in the 200-yard breaststroke. She is seeded 18th in the event with a time of 2:20.07.

DAY ONE - MARCH 16, 2016 --- GREENSBORO, N.C. - Emory & Henry College junior Michaela Nolte (Hillsborough, N.C.) made her debut at the NCAA Division III National Championship meet on Wednesday morning, swimming in the preliminaries of the 50-yard freestyle.

Nolte turned in a time of :24.05, her second-fastest time ever in the event. She finished fourth in her heat and 43rd overall as the only Old Dominion Athletic Conference swimmer in the event. The top time went to Emma Paulson of the University of St. Thomas (:22.77). Sixteenth place, which is the final qualifer for the evening session, came with a time of :23.51.

Nolte will next compete on Friday morning in what could be considered her best event, the 100-yard breaststroke.

MARCH 15, 2016 --- EMORY, Va. – Emory & Henry College junior Michaela Nolte (Hillsborough, N.C.) departed campus on Tuesday morning behind the encouragement of teammates, students, faculty, staff and administrators. Nolte will compete in three individual events beginning Wednesday at the 2016 NCAA Division III Men's & Women's Swimming & Diving Championships. The NCAA has produced a Digital Program for the Championships which is accessable HERE.

The four-day meet is being hosted by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference at the Greensboro Aquatic Center, which has also served as the site of the ODAC Championships for the past five years. The ODAC has created a portal to provide fans with information about this weekend's championship. Click HERE for more information.

Nolte will first compete on Wednesday in the 50-yard freestyle and enters the event with a school and ODAC record seed time of :23.90.

Friday will see competition in the 100-yard breaststroke. Nolte's E&H and conference record of 1:03.97 the event is 16th-fastest in the country this season.

Saturday, the final day of the Championships, has the 200-yard breaststroke on the docket. Nolte has the league and Emory & Henry record in this event as well (2:20.07) and was 19th in Division III during the season.

The meet will follow a Preliminaries/Finals format with the top 16 swimmers from the morning session qualifying for Finals in the evening. Prelims are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., while finals will begin at 6:00 p.m.
