GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Swimming Team wrapped up competition in the 2017 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships Sunday evening, winning its second race of the weekend and adding another runner-up relay. The Wasps finished third overall in the team championship with a total of 451 points.

The Finals
Event 25 – 1650-Yard Freestyle – Senior Jordan Greenburg's (Cordova, Tenn.) swim of 19:07.67 on Sunday morning held up through the final heat for sixth place.
Event 27 – 200-Yard Backstroke – Greenburg clocked a time of 2:15.88 to finish seventh.
Event 29 – 100-Yard Freestyle – Senior Jessica Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla.) clocked a :52.66 which was good for third while freshman Olivia Anson (Apex, N.C.) was fifth in :54.35.
Event 31 – 200-Yard Breaststroke – Senior Michaela Nolte (Hillsborough, N.C.) made it a clean sweep for her fourth-straight ODAC Championship in record-setting form, swimming a 2:19.43. Junior Brianna Chessock (Winston-Salem, N.C.) was fourth (2:30.04) while junior Kelsey Jones (Roanoke, Va.) was sixth (2:36.06).
Event 35 – 400-Yard Freestyle Relay – Richardson, Anson, Chessock and Nolte put together a swim of 3:35.72 to finish as the ODAC Runner-Up. Richardson tied the E&H record for the 100-yard freestyle with her leadoff swim of (:52.45).
The Preliminaries
Event 25 – 1650-Yard Freestyle – Senior Jordan Greenburg (Cordova, Tenn.) went 19:07.67 in the morning's heats of timed finals. She will finish no lower than ninth. Senior Lauren Blakey's (Davidson, N.C.) swim of 21:38.72 will place her 16th.
Event 27 – 200-Yard Backstroke – Greenburg is seeded sixth going into this evening's finals with a time of 2:13.88.
Event 29 – 100-Yard Freestyle – Senior Jessica Richardson (Vero Beach, Fla.) has the fourth-best time (:53.32) while freshman Olivia Anson (Apex, N.C.) is sixth (:54.84). Finishing as the alternates for this evening's finals, senior Kia Hamilton (Memphis, Tenn.) swam a :59.43 (17th) and freshman Taylor Simmons (Fincastle, Va.) went 1:00.43 (18th).
Event 31 – 200-Yard Breaststroke – The Wasps have three swimmers in the Championship Final led by senior Michaela Nolte (Hillsborough, N.C.) with the number two seed (2:23.18). Junior Brianna Chessock (Winston-Salem, N.C.) is seeded fifth and junior Kelsey Jones (Roanoke, Va.) is sixth after clocking times of 2:32.36 and 2:38.18, respectively.
Event 35 – 400-Yard Freestyle Relay – E&H is seeded third going into tonight's Championship Final after a preliminary swim of 4:04.32.
