For the first time in several years, the Wasps have a well-blended roster, combining veterans and newcomers. Back for the Wasps are Second-Team All-ODAC performer senior Olivia Anson (Apex, N.C.) and sophomore Cat Sweigart (Bridgewater, Va.), who was named to the all-league third team a year ago. Four other returners will be looked to for their leadership and experience while the team welcomes five newcomers from strong swimming backgrounds.

Washington and Lee University is once again the league favorite, earning 12 first-place votes. Roanoke College is second while Randolph-Macon College is just one point behind in third with the final first-place vote. Just ahead of Emory & Henry in fourth is Bridgewater College.

Emory & Henry will get the season started Friday afternoon at the King (Tenn.) Invitational. The two-day meet will take place at the Kingsport Aquatics Center in Kingsport, Tennessee.
