Emory & Henry Women's Swimming Continues To Be Recognized For Academic Success

RICHMOND, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Swimming Team has received Scholar All-America Team designation for the Spring 2022 semester from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. The Wasps earn the award for the 18th-straight semester - nine straight years - dating back to the fall of 2013.

For the spring semester, 76 different NCAA Division II women's programs achieved the Scholar All-America standard. E&H, with a 3.52 team GPA, is one of five members of the Bluegrass Mountain Conference to earn the award. The BMC is a swimming-only conference mostly made up of schools that are also members of the South Atlantic Conference.

Lenoir-Rhyne University (3.81), Savannah College of Art & Design (3.80), Queens University of Charlotte (3.66), and Wingate University (3.49) were also recognized.

The Team Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming & diving teams, which have achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually, once in the fall semester and once in the spring semester. The CSCAA honors teams from each of the NCAA's three divisions, NAIA and NJCAA.
