Emory & Henry Women's Swimming Chosen Fifth In SAC Preseason Poll

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Swimming Team has been picked to finish in a tie for fifth place in the South Atlantic Conference this year by the league's head coaches. The poll was released by the SAC office on Wednesday.

Wingate University, the inaugural SAC Champion and sixth-place finisher at the 2023 NCAA Division II Championships, has been chosen to repeat their title with four of six first-place votes. Carson-Newman University grabbed the other two top nods and is second while Catawba College is third and Lenoir-Rhyne University is fourth. E&H is tied for fifth with Mars Hill University.

Additionally, the SAC has announced its Swimmers to Watch List with junior Paige Gelenski (Boca Raton, Fla.), junior Hope Christensen (Moroni, Utah) and sophomore Samantha Pepevnik (Porsgrunn, NORWAY) making the list for E&H.

The 2024 SAC Championships will be held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center beginning Wednesday, February 14 and running through Saturday, February 17.
