SALEM, Va. – The Roanoke College Women's Tennis Team (6-3, 4-1 ODAC) picked up a 9-0 victory over Emory & Henry College (5-8, 0-5 ODAC) in Old Dominion Athletic Conference action Tuesday afternoon at RC's Campus Courts. The Maroons are ranked No. 20 in the South Atlantic Region by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

The Wasps were competitive at number three doubles as sophomore Sheyenne Cleveland (Rural Retreat, Va.) and freshman Auburn Barrett (Hendersonville, N.C.) lost an 8-4 decision. Barrett fought in a 6-3, 7-6 (3) setback at the six singles flight.

Emory & Henry will have nine days off before its next match. The Wasps will travel to Sweet Briar, Va., to face the Vixens of Sweet Briar College on Friday, April 5. The match is being made up from this past Sunday when Winter Storm Virgil forced its postponement.
