EMORY, Va. – The Roanoke College Women's Tennis Team (8-0, 4-0 ODAC) remained perfect on the year with a 6-3 win over Emory & Henry College (6-5, 0-3 ODAC) Saturday morning at Richardson Tennis Courts. The Maroons are currently the No. 19 team in the Atlantic South Region by the ITA.

Emory & Henry picked up a win at No. 1 doubles as senior Alyssa Wingate (Independence, Va.) and freshman Stella Di Michele (San Remo, ITALY) posted an 8-1 score.

The Wasps got their other two points at the top two singles flights. Di Michele earned a 6-1 6-1 win at the premier singles pairing while Wingate was victorious, 7-5 6-2, at the second matchup.

Emory & Henry will be in action on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m., when it travels to Shenandoah University for an ODAC matchup. The contest will be part of a doubleheader as the Wasp men will also take on the Hornets.
