Emory & Henry Women's Tennis Blow By Hollins, 7-2, To Earn Their First ODAC Win, Friday Afternoon

BRISTOL, Tenn. - The Emory & Henry women's tennis team 4-8 (1-4 ODAC) dominated Hollins University 2-9 (1-5 ODAC) on Friday afternoon,7-2, to earn their first ODAC victory of the season. Due to weather, the Wasps moved their match to Bristol Racquet & Fitness Club in Bristol, Tennessee.

WOMEN

Doubles
-Liz Graham (Bristol, Va.) and Lauren Riner (Coeburn, Va.) quickly dispatched their counterparts at one doubles, 8-2.
- At two doubles, Savanna Summers (Bluff City, Tenn.)  and Bri Pierce (Purlear, N.C.) defeated their opponents, 8-3.
-At three doubles, Kaitlyn Sheaves (Staunton, Va.) and Katie Meade (Coeburn, Va.) won their team-leading fifth match has a duo, 8-3.

Singles
-Riner was in a tight matchup at one singles. The senior won the match, 6-0, 2-6, 14-12
-Graham won her sixth singles match of the year, 6-2, 6-1, at two singles.
-Summers lost 7-6, 6-0 at three singles.
-Pierce also fell at four singles, 6-3, 6-4.
-Meade won in straight sets, 6-0, 7-5. 
-Sheaves won her team-leading seveth singles match, 6-0, 6-2.
