FOREST, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team has picked up the #6 seed for the upcoming Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament, ODAC officials announced late Sunday night. The league's postseason pairings were released with the conclusion of regular season play.

Emory & Henry reaches the postseason for the second third in four years and the sixth time since the conference went to a team dual championship format in 2007. The Wasps advanced to the semifinals of last season's tournament as the fifth seed before falling to eventual league champion Washington and Lee University.

The Wasps (9-10) finished sixth outright with a 6-5 record against ODAC teams and will face third-seeded Randolph College (12-3, 9-2 ODAC) in the tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. The WildCats defeated E&H by a 5-1 score in an abbreviated match on Sunday, March 26.

The winner of Wednesday's quarterfinal match will face off against the winner of #2 Randolph-Macon College and #7 Lynchburg College next on Saturday, May 6 at R-MC. The ODAC title match will be on Sunday, May 7, also on the Ashland, Virginia campus.
