FOREST, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Tennis Team has been picked to finish seventh in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference by the league's 12 head coaches, ODAC officials announced Thursday.

The Wasps are coming off a 9-11 year in 2017 when they put together a 6-5 conference record. E&H earned the six-seed in the ODAC Tournament, falling to #3 Randolph College in the quarterfinals. Emory & Henry returns five players from last season's squad and welcomes a pair of newcomers.

Washington and Lee University, the winner of the past 15 ODAC titles and 27 overall, is picked to continue its dominance with 11 first-place votes and 121 points. Bridgewater College is second while Randolph-Macon College earned the final first-place vote and sits in third.

E&H (1-1) will kick off the spring portion of its season on Saturday, February 24 when it hosts Johnson University. The Wasps will play their first ODAC match against Washington and Lee on Saturday, March 10.
