BRISTOL, Tenn. - The University of Lynchburg Women's Tennis Team (6-6, 3-3 ODAC) picked up a 5-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference victory against Emory & Henry College (9-1, 4-0 ODAC) Sunday. Due to the weather ranging from cold and windy to intermittent sleet on the E&H campus, the match was moved to indoor courts at Bristol Racquet & Fitness Club.

How It Happened
Lynchburg got out to a 2-1 lead after doubles play but the Wasp tandem of senior Vanna Summers (Bluff City, Tenn.) and freshman Logan Graham (Radford, Va.) claimed an 8-7 (7-4) win at the No. 2 flight.
In singles play, Summers was one game away from stealing a three-set victory at No. 3, the allotted time for the indoor courts had elapsed. Senior Kaitlyn Sheaves (Staunton, Va.) came up short in a three-set match of her own at No. 2 singles while senior Katie Meade (Coeburn, Va.) battled nationally-ranked No. 32 (No. 16 Atlantic South) Christina Harris at the top flight.
