How It Happened
In doubles, the Lady Buffaloes won at No. 1 and No. 3 to claim the point. Senior Logan Graham (Radford, Va.) and sophomore Molly McMichael (Riner, Va.) grabbed a 7-5 win at the second flight, preventing the sweep.
Singles action saw Milligan win all six matches to complete the 7-0 win. Sophmore Tess Flanigan (Marietta, Ga.) challenged her opponent at the No. 2 pairing, but fell 6-4, 7-6 (4).
