Jacob Marshall is entering his first year as the Head Men’s & Women’s Tennis Coach at Emory & Henry College. 

A native of Bristol, Tennessee, Marshall joined the Wasps’ coaching staff after a year as assistant tennis coach at The Virginian Racquet Club in Bristol. There he assisted in designing and implementing training programs for junior and adult players as well as teaching private lessons and organizing tournaments and events. 

As a player, Marshall was a four-year member of the tennis team at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. During his time with the Mocs, he earned 41 wins in singles and 31 wins in doubles. Marshall is also one of the most-decorated high school players in Tennessee, as he was a four-time TSSAA champion in singles and three-time champion in doubles while playing for Tennessee High School in Bristol. 

Marshall earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from UT-Chattanooga in 2021 and a Master of Business Administration from the same institution in 2023.
