SALEM, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Track & Field Teams kept rolling on Saturday, breaking seven records at the Noke Elite meet, hosted by Roanoke College. Five men's records and two women's marks were eclipsed on the day.

Top Men's Performances
- Senior Trel Phillips (Ooltewah, Tenn.) led the Wasps in the shot put as he threw for 14.56 meters, finishing second. Sophomore Donovan Pinnix (Eden, N.C.) and senior Justin Fannon (Abingdon, Va.) were third and fourth, respectively.
- Fannon set a new school record in the weight throw with a mark of 13.85 meters to take sixth. Phillips and sophomore Edward Rajner (Bainbridge, N.Y.) were seventh and eighth.
- Junior Conor White (Warrenton, Va.) notched a new top mark in the 800 meters at 2:01.02 (fifth) while junior Jackson Kaze (Midlothian, Va.) was 12th in the mile at 4:36.85. Both times go down as new E&H records.
- In the triple jump, freshman Colby Martin (Fork Union, Va.) went 12.05 meters to finish ninth overall for a new program best.
- Junior Markell Moss (Wytheville, Va.) finished eighth in the 60-meter hurdles and his time of :09.10 in the preliminaries set a new record. Moss also took 11th in the long jump at 5.79 meters.
- The Wasps' 4x200-meter relay of sophomore Deonte Geddis (Summerville, S.C.), Moss, sophomore Zyquis Law (Charlotte, N.C.) and Martin was fourth at 1:40.37.
Women's Top Performances
- Sophomore Yasmin Thorpe (Mount Airy, Md.) set a new record in the 200 meters at :30.74, finishing 22nd and was 23rd in the 60 meters (:09.28).
- Junior Alette McGuire (Chesapeake, Va.) bettered the Wasps' mark in the 800 meters with a time of 2:45.04 to take 18th while freshman Taylor Mixon (Chilhowie, Va.) was 25th. McGuire was also 19th in the mile.
- Sophomore Lorin Zehr (Holly Pond, Ala.) took 11th in the shot put (9.68m) and 12th in the eight throw (10.96m).
