Volleyball: Year in Review

EMORY, Va. - Emory & Henry volleyball finished the season sixth in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference which was an improvement from their seventh place finish last season.  Despite a 13-17 (5-6 ODAC) record, the Wasps finished fourth in the ODAC in hitting percentage, blocks, and service aces.

Emory & Henry also saw three of its members named to All-ODAC teams after the 2015 season.  Junior Kennady Thomason improved on her third team selection last year and was named to the second team this season.  Thomason racked up 177 kills and a team-high 80 blocks on the season, and her 0.95 blocks per set was good for fourth in the ODAC.  Junior Hannah Doss was named to an All-ODAC team for the first time in her career.  The Meadowview, Virginia native, who led the team in kills and points, was a second team selection. Junior Tristen Pennington was named to the All-ODAC third team, marking the third straight year in which she has garnered all-conference honors.  Pennington led the team in kills per set at 2.52 and points per set at 3.1.
