Emory & Henry Volleyball Plays Two Matches At Milligan Saturday

MILLIGAN COLLEGE, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Volleyball Team (4-14, 1-5 ODAC) dropped a pair of matches Saturday afternoon at Milligan College. The Wasps fell to St. Andrews University by a 3-1 score to open the day before a 3-0 loss against host, Milligan.

Both the Knights and Buffaloes are members of the NAIA.

The St. Andrews Match
- Senior right-side hitter Rebecca Morehouse (Kingsport, Tenn.) had 12 kills and two blocks while senior outside hitter Tori Holmberg (Wake Forest, N.C.) added 11 kills.
- Senior setter Sam McCauley (Glade Spring, Va.) dished out 31 assists and put up two aces and four digs.
- Freshman defensive specialist Abbie Jennings (Marion, Va.) notched 23 digs and three aces while senior libero Huntre Baxter (Blountville, Tenn.) had 15 digs.

The Milligan Match
- Holmberg added another 11 kills against the Buffaloes while freshman outside hitter Delaini Nagy (Clover, S.C.) had six kills.
- Freshman middle Keely Doyle (Lexington, Va.) registered five kills and two blocks.
- McCauley notched 24 assists and nine digs while Baxter tallied 16 digs.

- Emory & Henry returns home on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m., for an Old Dominion Athletic Conference match against Hollins University.
