EMORY, Va. – Emory & Henry College Volleyball Team and Head Coach Kyla King are pleased to announce the match schedule for the 2019 season. This year, the Wasps will play 27 contests including nine home matches and two home tri-matches.

E&H will open the season on Friday, August 30 in Atlanta, Georgia at the Emory Classic. The Wasps will take on Oglethorpe University, Belhaven University and Piedmont College during the weekend. After away matches at Southern Virginia University (Sept. 3) and Brevard College (Sept. 5), Emory & Henry will open both its home schedule and Old Dominion Athletic Conference play with a tilt against Randolph College on Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00 p.m.
The Wasps visit the campus of Marymount University in Alexandria, Virginia for three matches over the weekend of September 13-14 and return home for a league contest against Ferrum College (Tue., Sept. 17; 7:00 p.m.).
Five-straight matches on the road including ODAC contests against Roanoke College, Virginia Wesleyan University and Randolph-Macon College. The Wasps return to the King Center on Thursday, October 3 for a conference match against Eastern Mennonite University (7:00 p.m.) and remain at home on Tuesday, October 8 against Washington and Lee University (7:00 p.m.).
Visits to Piedmont International University (Thu., Oct. 10) and Hollins University (Tue., Oct. 15) set up an ODAC tri-match on Sunday, October 20 which will see the Wasps host the Hornets of Shenandoah University and University of Lynchburg. After hosting Greensboro College on Wednesday, October 24, E&H have three matches on the road before closing out the regular season at home.
On Sunday, November 3, the Wasps will host The University of the South and Salem (N.C.) College in a tri-match at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. The day will also serve as Senior Day for Emory & Henry.
The 2019 ODAC Tournament will take place between November 6 and 9. The quarterfinals of the tournament will be held at the top four seeds on Wednesday, November 6 with the semifinals and championship hosted at the highest remaining seed on the weekend of Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9.
