Emory & Henry Volleyball Defeats Piedmont, 3-2, Saturday At Emory Classic

ATLANTA, Ga. – The Emory & Henry College Volleyball Team (1-2, 0-0 ODAC) picked up its first win of the year in thrilling fashion as it defeated Piedmont College (1-3, 0-0 USA South) by a 3-2 score on Saturday afternoon in the Emory Classic.

Emory & Henry Individual Leaders
- Sophomore middle Keely Doyle (Lexington, Va.) posted a team-high 12 kills and added two blocks while sophomore outside hitters Chelsie Crussell (Kingsport, Tenn.) and Delaini Nagy (Clover, S.C.) each had eight kills. Crussell also tacked on 17 digs and three service aces.
- Freshman setter Marissa Snapp (Greeneville, Tenn.) dished out 22 assists and served up a pair of aces while freshman setter Abbie Dillon (Goodview, Va.) had 18 assists, two kills, seven digs and an ace.
- Senior libero Lauren Coolidge (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) notched 20 digs while sophomore defensive specialist Abbie Jennings (Marion, Va.) notched 10 digs of her own.
