BRISTOL, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IDA and IHSA Teams under the leadership of Lisa Moosmueller-Terry and Heather Richardson are pleased to announce their schedules for the spring 2019 semester. The Wasps will compete in five IDA shows and three IHSA shows prior to the start of the postseason.

E&H will get things started on Sunday, February 3 when it travels to Bridgewater College for an IDA show. The IDA schedule continues with home shows on Sunday, February 17 and Sunday, March 24. The Wasps will round out the year with a show at Appalachian State University on Sunday, March 31 and at Virginia Tech on Sunday, April 7.

The IDA National Championship will be hosted by Lake Erie College in Mentor, Ohio over the weekend of Thursday, April 25 through Sunday, April 28. Emory & Henry will look to defend its title and go for its fourth IDA National Championship in five years.

In IHSA competition, the Wasps open the spring with a home show on Saturday, February 9. After visiting Virginia Tech on Saturday, February 16, E&H will cap the regular season at UNC-Greensboro on Saturday, February 23. The Zone 4 – Region 5 finals will be hosted by Averett University on Saturday, March 16 while the Zone 4 Finals will take place on Saturday, April 6 with the University of Virginia serving as host.

The IHSA National Finals are set to be hosted by the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, New York. The four-day event will run from Thursday, May 2 to Sunday, May 5.
