Intermont Equestrian IDA Team Competes At Appalachian State Sunday

BETHLEHEM, N.C. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IDA Team competed in a dressage seat equitation show on Sunday, hosted by Appalachian State University. "DSE" is a relatively new discipline in college-level dressage and will be included in the IDA National Championship for the first time this spring. The Wasps posted eight top-three finishes on the day.

LOCATION
– Bethlehem, North Carolina
VENUE – Foothills Equestrian Center

First Level
Freshman Allison Inggs (Mount Edgecomb, SOUTH AFRICA) was the reseve champion in the first level. Senior Sydney Casady (Harriman, Tenn.) finished third while senior Eliza Ginn (Alpharetta, Ga.) was fourth.

Upper Training Level
Senior Delaney Oursler (Hickory, N.C.) won the test while freshman Eleanor Boyle (Boyds, Md.) was third.

Lower Training Level
Junior Gwenyth Stromdahl (Fernandina Beach, Fla.) picked up the win while freshman Sofia Inchausti (Bloomsbury, N.J.) was second. Junior Emily Trice (Gainesville, Ga.) posted a third-place finish and junior Mya Lizzadro (Naperville, Ill.) was fourth.

Introductory Level
Sophomore Caroline French (Raleigh, N.C.) earned reserve-champion honors while junior Catherine Hill (Roanoke, Va.) was fourth.

Next Up
Emory & Henry will close out the IDA regular season on Sunday April 7 when it visits Virginia Tech.
