Intermont Equestrian IDA Team Takes Second At Bridgewater Sunday

WEYERS CAVE, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IDA Team got the spring portion of its season started on Sunday with a reserve champion finish at Bridgewater College.

The Basics
TEAM PLACE – 2nd/6
LOCATION – Weyers Cave, Virginia
VENUE – Bridgewater College Equestrian Center

First Level
- Senior Bobbie Jo Adsit (Montpelier, Va.) finished fourth, scoring a 64.143%.

Upper Training Level
- Junior Delaney Dunne (Kingsport, Tenn.) posted a 67.414%, earning reserve champion honors.

Lower Training Level
- Sophomore Sofia Inchausti (Bloomsbury, N.J.) took second with a ride of 68.462%.

Introductory Level
- Sophomore Becca Pagnini (Beaverdam, Va.) also recorded a second-place finish with her score of 65.938%.

The Awards
- Bridgewater's Devon Francis was named High-Point Rider of the Day for her win in the Lower Training Level while BC's Jemma Constant took Reserve High-Point Rider of the Day accolades after winning the Upper Training Level.

Dressage Seat Equitation
- Sophomore Eleanor Boyle (Boyds, Md.) was second while freshman Emily Esposito (Virginia Beach, Va.) was third in First Level DSE.
- In Upper Training DSE, senior Gwenyth Stromdahl (Fernandina Beach, Fla.) picked up a win while senior Maddie Bonner (Powhatan, Va.) was second.
- Sophomore Makalyn Williams (Granville, Ohio) was second in Lower Training DSE.
- In the Introductory Level, junior Kaitlin Meredith (Mashpee, Mass.) earned a win.

Up Next
- Emory & Henry will return to action on Saturday when it visits Virginia Tech.
