EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Football Team has released its game schedule for the 2019 season. This year, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference schedule expands to eight games with the addition of Southern Virginia University as an associate member to the league.

In addition to facing SVU for the first time, E&H will take on Bluefield College in an official game for the first time in program history. The Wasps and Rams have squared off in preseason scrimmages the past two seasons.

Emory & Henry will open the season at home against North Carolina Wesleyan College on Saturday, September 7 in the first meeting between the two squads since the 2009 season and the third overall.

After its scheduled bye in Week Two, E&H will open ODAC play at Randolph-Macon College on Saturday, September 21. The Wasps remain on the road on Saturday, September 28 when they visit Bluefield.

Saturday, October 5 sees Emory & Henry welcome Hampden-Sydney College to Fred Selfe Stadium. The Wasps will be on the road on October 12 to face the Knights of Southern Virginia.

Highlighting Homecoming 2019 weekend is a matchup with Washington and Lee University on October 19 before E&H returns to the road, making the trip up Interstate 81 to take on Shenandoah University on Saturday, October 26.

The Wasps will face Bridgewater College at home on November 2 and travel to Guilford College on November 9. Emory & Henry will close out the regular season with long-standing rival Ferrum College on Saturday, November 16.
