MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Emory & Henry College senior defensive lineman Da'von Keith has been named to the D3football.com Team of the Week presented by Scoutware, D3football.com officials announced late Monday. Keith adds the award to ODAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Wasps to a 49-21 win at Bluefield College on Saturday night.

The Columbia, South Carolina native and Spring Valley High School graduate, makes it back-to-back seasons that an Emory & Henry has earned D3football.com Team of the Week honors. Justin Banks was honored by the D3football.com for his performance against Ferrum College in Week One of 2018.

Keith made six tackles – all solo – including four sacks and two quarterback hurries in the contest. His last stop of the game came as a strip-sack in which he recovered the fumble and took it 35 yards in for a touchdown and the final 49-21 margin with 10:50 left to play.

Emory & Henry (1-2, 0-1 ODAC) will return to Old Dominion Athletic Conference action on Saturday when it hosts Hampden-Sydney College. Kickoff between the Wasps and Tigers is set for 1:00 p.m., at Fred Selfe Stadium.
