Emory & Henry Men’s & Women’s Golf Announce Spring 2019 Schedule

EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's & Women's Golf Teams, under the direction of Head Coach Bill Mannino, has released their schedules for the spring 2019 portion of the season.

The Wasp men are scheduled to play in five tournaments this spring while the women have three tournaments currently on their schedule with another to be confirmed.

Both teams get the spring underway on Sunday, March 3 at the Hiwassee Invitational. The two-day event will take place at River Islands Golf Club in Kodak, Tennessee.

Over the course of the College's Spring Break week, the teams will travel to the Grand Strand of South Carolina for training and team building. While there, the Wasps will compete in a dual match against the University of Debuque at the Barefoot Landing Resort in North Myrtle Beach on Wednesday, March 13.

Emory & Henry's men will compete at the McDaniel Invitational on the weekend of Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7 at The Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The Wasps will close out the regular season at the Shipbuilders Invitational, hosted by The Apprentice School at Williamsburg National Golf Club on Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 16.

The 2019 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship is the final stop for both squads. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will return to The Champions Course at Bryan Park in Browns Summit, North Carolina.
