Southern Virginia Men’s Golf Edges Emory & Henry, 315-319, In Dual Match At Lexington Friday

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Men's Golf Team came up just four shots short of earning a dual-match win against Southern Virginia University Friday afternoon. The Knights posted a score of 315 to squeak past the Wasps' mark of 319.

Emory & Henry
- Sophomore Wesley Jones (Seymour, Tenn.) took third, shooting a +4 (76) while sophomore Blake Benson (Knoxville, Tenn.) carded a +4 (76) to finish fourth.
- Sophomore Isfandyar Khan (Lahore, PAKISTAN) and freshman Roger McClanahan (Mavisdale, Va.) tied for fifth with an 80 (+10).
- Junior Luke Montalbano (Rumford, R.I.) was eighth overall at +12 (84).

The Winners
- Nathan Ouimette took medalist honors, shooting a -2 (70) to win by five strokes over teammate Couslon Hardy.
