"I am excited to see this young team compete, develop and grow this season," commented Head Coach Robert Richardson, who enters his sixth year with Emory & Henry this fall.

Last season, Emory & Henry earned non-conference wins over Penn State-Mont Alto, the University of Valley Forge, the College of Saint Elizabeth, Johnson University and Hiwassee College. Six of the Wasps' losses on the season came by two goals or fewer.

The University of Lynchburg is picked to win the ODAC, earning nine of the 13 first-place votes. Washington and Lee University is second with three top nods while Roanoke College (one FPV) is third. Randolph-Macon College and Virginia Wesleyan University round out the top five.

Emory & Henry will open the season on Friday, August 31 when it travels to Penn State-York. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
