EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Men's & Women's Swimming Teams will enter the championship portion of their seasons this weekend at the 2020 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships, held at the Greensboro Aquatics Center. The four-day, 18-event meet will run from Thursday evening to Sunday with preliminary races in the morning and finals in the evening. The Wasps will send 10 men and 10 women to this year's championship.
"The ODAC Championship meet is what we build our whole season around. Our biggest goal when we get into the pool in the fall is to prepare ourselves to swim fast this weekend," commented Head Coach Cody Skinner, now in his third year leading the Wasps. "We have had a good regular season. Our record shows that we had success during the year, but the big measuring stick is the championship meet at the end of the season."

The Women
- Senior Olivia Anson (Apex, N.C.) had a trio of top-10 seeds. She is fifth in the 100-freestyle, sixth in the 500-freestyle and eighth in the 200-freestyle.
- Sophomore Cat Sweigart (Bridgewater, Va.) holds the eight and nine seeds in the 100- and 200-yard breaststroke, respectively, and is seeded 15th in the 200-yard individual medley.
- Sophomore Anne-Louise Tunstall (Mount Airy, N.C.) is seeded 13th in the 200-IM and 14th in the 100-butterfly while freshman Kenzie Welch (Kingsport, Tenn.) has the 15th-best times in the 200-yard freestyle and 200-yard backstroke.
The Men
- Freshman Luc Grillet (Matthews, N.C.) is ranked seventh in the 200-yard breaststroke and 11th in the 100-yard breaststroke while freshman Antonio Walters (Elon, N.C.) has the 10th-best swim in the 100-yard butterfly.
- Sophomore Braxton Justice (Spanishburg, W.Va.) sits with the #13 seed in the 100-freestyle and the #15 seed in the 50-free.
- Freshman Noah Wilson (Frederick, Md.) comes into the championship ranked 11th in the 400-yard individual medley and 15th in the 100-yard backstroke.
