Emory & Henry Announces Men's & Women's Indoor Track & Field Schedule

EMORY, Va. – For the first time since the 1993-94 season, Emory & Henry College will compete in indoor track & field. The addition of indoor track marks the second phase in the rejuvenation of the Wasps track & field program which began in the spring of 2018.

This will also be the first-ever season of indoor track & field for the E&H women, who competed for the first-time ever this past spring.

Emory & Henry will compete in four regular-season meets leading up to the 2019 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships which will be held on Sunday, February 24 on the campus of Roanoke College.

The Wasps will have plenty of opportunities to get acquainted with the facilities at Roanoke's Cregger Center, beginning with the Bast-Cregger Invitational this weekend (Fri., Nov. 30-Sat., Dec. 1).

Following the Christmas Holiday, E&H will get back in action on the weekend of January 18-19 at the Keydet Invitational, hosted by Virginia Military Institute. A return trip to Roanoke for the Finn Pincus Invitational on January 25-26 leads up to the penultimate regular-season competition.

On the weekend of February 1-2, the Wasps will visit East Tennessee State University to race in the Buccaneer Track & Field Invitational.

Following the conference championships, the Wasps will have one last opportunity to achieve a national qualifying mark. The 2019 NCAA Division III Championships will take place on the weekend of Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
