
GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators, formerly known as CoSIDA, has released its Academic All-District® Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams for the 2024-25 season. Nine Emory & Henry University student-athletes were recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments.

On the men's side, senior Matthew Klapak (Zion Crossroads, Va.), juniors Gavin Lee (North Tazewell, Va.) and Zavery Wallace (Buena Vista, Va.) and sophomores Nour Nabi (Lake Ridge, Va.) and Davis Norman (Salem, Va.) represented E&H. A total of 42 student-athletes from the South Atlantic Conference and 449 from across NCAA Division II were honored.
Four different Emory & Henry women were selected. Juniors Delaney Eller (Salem, Va.), Elise McKinney (Church Hill, Tenn.) and Madison Ricketts (Kingsport, Tenn.) along with sophomore McKenzie Tate (Wytheville, Va.) were Emory & Henry's picks. A total of 560 women including 39 from the SAC made it on the Division II Academic All-District Team.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of play and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
Academic All-District® honorees who meet certain criteria advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced early July.
