Emory & Henry Women’s Swimming Earns 10th-Straight Academic Honor From CSCAA

NORFOLK, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Women's Swimming Team has once again been recognized for its performance in the classroom. For the past 10 semesters - a full five academic years - the Wasps have been tabbed as a Scholar All-America Team.

E&H, which achieved a 3.36 team GPA during the spring of 2018 was one of 163 NCAA Division III programs including five from the Old Dominion Athletic Conference to receive the honor. Hollins University (3.56) topped the league while Washington and Lee University was second (3.45). Bridgewater College (3.33) and Sweet Briar College (3.02) were also recognized. William Peace University topped the nation with a 3.82 grade point average for the spring 2018 semester.

The Team Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming & diving teams, which have achieved a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is presented twice annually, once in the fall semester and once in the spring semester. The CSCAA honors teams from each of the NCAA's three divisions, NAIA and NJCAA.
