With two sophomores and seven freshmen on the roster, the Wasps are undoubtedly one of the youngest squads in the ODAC, if not the country this year. The team posted a 1-2 record in the fall, competing in the ITA South Region Championships for the first time since 2015.
Washington and Lee University, the winner of the past 17 ODAC titles and 29 overall, is picked to continue its dominance with 12 first-place votes. Randolph-Macon is in second place while the University of Lynchburg is third with the final first-place vote. Sweet Briar College an Roanoke College are fourth and fifth, respectively.
Emory & Henry will open the spring portion of its season on Saturday when it visits Spartanburg Methodist College at 1:00 p.m. The Wasps' first league match will be at Virginia Wesleyan University on Saturday, March 7.
