Now under the leadership Shawnee Kegley, who assumed the head coaching duties this summer, E&H will look to lay a groundwork for the future this fall. Returning to the team are senior Erica Grupp (Charlottesville, Va.) and junior Alette McGuire (Chesapeake, Va.). They are joined by freshman Taylor Mixon (Chilhowie, Va.).

Washington and Lee University has been tabbed to win its fifth-straight league title with 10 of the 13 first-place votes. University of Lynchburg grabbed the remaining three top picks and is second in the poll. Bridgewater College and Shenandoah University round out the top four.

Emory & Henry get the season started on Friday, August 30 at the Bridgewater Cross Country Challenge. The 2019 ODAC Championship will be hosted by Roanoke at Green Hill Park in Salem, Virginia on Saturday, November 2.
