EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Department of Athletics is pleased to announce the Seventh Annual I-HEY Golf Tournament presented by Branch & Associates, Inc. The golf tournament will once again be held at Glenrochie Country Club in Abingdon, Virginia. The tournament is set to tee off on Monday, June 9 with a shotgun start of 9:00 a.m.

This annual event is held in appreciation of the loyal contributors to the I-HEY fund and to support the operational needs of the athletic department. You are invited to join us for a day on the links with your Emory & Henry friends.

This year’s tournament will feature more prizes for winning teams, which comes courtesy of adding another flight for additional competitive balance. Blue Ridge Auto Group will have two cars available as hole-in-one prizes this year. In addition, there will be plenty of in game contests such as the Hampton Inn Longest Drive contest, Bank of Marion Closest to the Pin contest, Food Country Longest Putt contest, and Pop Ellis Soda Shoppe Putting contest. All of these contests are in thanks to our sponsors and will add even more excitement to a great day of golf!

The registration fee is $125 per person with a 100-person limit to the field. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Hole sponsorships are available for $250, while Friends of the Tournament sponsorships are $100. To download this year's brochure and registration form, click HERE.

I-HEY is the official fundraising arm of Emory & Henry College’s athletic department. For more than 60 years, alumni and friends have supported athletic programs at E&H by joining I-HEY (I Help Every Year). Contributions, which go directly to the Athletic Department, help teams purchase equipment and pay for travel to and from competition. Gifts earmarked to I-HEY will help young men and women become leaders on the field and court as well as in the classroom.
