On the men's side, sophomore men's golfer Peerapol Huangching (Rayong, THAILAND) represented E&H as one of 26 student-athletes from the South Atlantic Conference and 296 from across NCAA Division II.

Five different Emory & Henry women were selected. Leading the way was senior Andreia Langley (Chilhowie, Va.) from women's wrestling. Also honored were junior Emily Smelcer (Walland, Tenn.) and Briah Frisbee (Leicester, N.C.) from women's golf as well as sophomores Ava Harry (Wake Forest, N.C.) and Sierra Smith (Olathe, Kan.) from the Intermont Equestrian teams. A total of 434 women including 43 from the SAC made it on the Division II Academic All-District Team.

The 2022-23 Academic All-District® At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of play and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately honors an at-large team to give recognition to sports that do not have a specific team. Recipients from four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender are selected.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in late June.
