Emory & Henry Sees Record 167 Student-Athletes Honored With The D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Emory & Henry has seen a record 167 student-athletes recognized by the Division 2 Athletic Directors Association (D2 ADA) for their academic performance during the 2024-25 academic year. The award recognizes student-athletes who have completed two or more years in the classroom and have a grade-point average of 3.50 or higher.

Emory & Henry's number of recipients soared to 167 this year from 131 in 2023-24 and 81 in 2022-23. The Women's Soccer team led the way with 15 honorees while Softball had 14 student-athletes recognized. Baseball was the top men's program with 13 student-athletes making the list.

The D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award is now in its 18th year. In total, a record 22,756 student-athletes from 202 NCAA Division II institutions were honored. As a league, the South Atlantic Conference had 1,755 student-athletes recognized.
