Courtney Lucado is in her first year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Emory & Henry College. Lucado joined the E&H staff during the summer of 2023 and will work with the Wasps’ cross country, track & field, women’s basketball and baseball teams during the 2023-24 academic year.

Lucado joins the E&H staff after a year on the athletic training staff at Randolph. While with the WildCats, she worked with the softball, women’s soccer, men’s and women's swimming and men’s lacrosse programs.

Lucado earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sport and Exercise Studies from Randolph College in 2019. She received a Master of Science in Athletic Training from University of Lynchburg  in 2022 during which she had clinical rotation with field hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, and men's and women's cross country/track & field.

Courtney was a member of the softball team while an undergraduate at Randolph College and was named team captain as a senior. She earned Academic All-American honors each of her final three seasons.
