Dr. Timothy Smith is in his second year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Emory & Henry College. Smith joined the E&H staff during the summer of 2022 and will work with the Wasps’ baseball and women’s soccer teams during the 2022-23 academic year.

Smith joins the E&H staff after recently obtaining his doctorate from Indiana State University. Prior to joining E&H, Smith served as an athletic trainer for LeConte Medical Center in Sevierville, Tennessee since February 2020. He was also head athletic trainer for Tennessee Middle School in Bristol, Tennessee from August 2016 to February 2020. 

Smith earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from King (Tenn.) University in 2016. He also obtained a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2017, then earned a Doctorate in Athletic Training from Indiana State University in 2022.
