Sydney Takata is in his second year as Assistant Athletic Trainer at Emory & Henry College. Takata joined the E&H staff during the summer of 2022 and will work with the Wasps' cross country, track & field and softball teams during the 2022-23 academic year.

Takata joins the E&H staff after recently earning her master's degree from the University of Virginia. While in Charlottesville, she worked with the Cavaliers' football, softball, wrestling, women's rowing, women's lacrosse and men's & women's track & field programs.

Takata earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Virginia in 2020. She received a Master of Science degree in athletic training from UVA in 2022.
