Emory & Henry Baseball To Host Catcher’s Camp On July 17-18

EMORY, Va. – Emory & Henry College Head Baseball Coach Trey McCall is pleased to announce the 2014 Catching Camp at E&H. The two-day camp will take place on the Emory & Henry campus on Thursday, July 17 and Friday, July 18.

This camp is dedicated to providing intense training that will equip each camper with the knowledge and skills, allowing them to excel on the diamond and be a leader behind the plate.

McCall, who is entering his 10th year as the Wasps' head coach, was named the 2012 ODAC Baseball Coach of the Year after leading E&H to the ODAC Tournament for the first time since 1999. The Abingdon, Va., native was also Philadelphia's First Round selection in the 1985 Major League Baseball Draft and spent five years in the Phillies' farm system.

The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on both Thursday and Friday with registration beginning Thursday at 8:30 a.m. Full payment of $75.00 is due at the time of registration with checks made payable to "Emory & Henry Baseball."
