EMORY, Va. – The Emory & Henry College Baseball Team and Head Coach Trey McCall have released the team's schedule for the 2022 season. The Wasps will play a 38-game slate this spring against teams from NCAA Division II, Division III and NAIA.

E&H gets the season started with a four-game series at King (Tenn.) University on Friday, February 11 and Saturday, February 12. The pair of seven-inning doubleheaders will begin at noon.

The Wasps host the University of Virginia's College at Wise on the weekend of Saturday, February 19 and Sunday, February 20. Saturday will have a doubleheader beginning at noon while Sunday's single game is set for a 1:00 p.m. first pitch.

Following a three-game set at Covenant College (Fri., Feb. 25; Sat., Feb. 26), Emory & Henry hosts Montreat College on Tuesday, March 1 in a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m. On Wednesday, March 2 the Wasps visit Bluefield College for a single game before taking time off for Spring Break.

Returning to action, E&H hosts Concord University on Tuesday, March 15 at 3:00 p.m., before visiting Bluefield State College on March 16 for a doubleheader. The Wasps continue the road trip with games at University of Pikeville (Mar. 22), Guilford College (Mar. 23) and Ferrum College (Mar. 29).

Emory & Henry welcomes Pikeville on Wednesday, March 30 at 3:00 p.m., to complete the series with the Bears. Following three games at Milligan University (April 1 & 2), a trip to Concord (April 5) and a weekend series with Carolina University (April 8 & 9), the Wasps host Guilford on Tuesday, April 12 at 3:00 p.m.

After a midweek doubleheader at Montreat on April 13, the Wasps have a six-game homestand in the span of eight days. A single game against Bluefield begins the stretch on Tuesday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m., followed by a doubleheader on April 20 against Bluefield State at 1:30 p.m. E&H hosts Hampden-Sydney College on Saturday, April 23 in a noon doubleheader before closing out the home portion of its season against Ferrum on Tuesday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m.

Emory & Henry concludes the season on Saturday, April 30 with a doubleheader at Washington and Lee University (noon).
