How It Happened
E&H got on the board in the bottom of the first as fifth-year centerfielder Hayden Milley (Clover, S.C.) hit a RBI single to left field, plating sophomore third baseman Jared Foley (Sparta, N.C.). The Mountain Lions answered in the top of the second on a M.J. Hunter single through the left side.

In the third, the Wasps scored twice for a 3-1 advantage. Junior catcher Nathan Treadway (Valdese, N.C.) highlighted the frame with a double to center while sophomore second baseman Triston Hensley (Covington, Va.) drove in a run on a fielder's choice.

Two innings later, Concord tied the game at three runs apiece with an Anthony Stehlin base hit and a sacrifice fly by Michael Dupont. CU went ahead in the sixth on a solo home run to left field by Joey Duffer, 4-3.

The Mountain Lions extended their lead to 6-3 in the top of the eighth as Zack Saryeldin plated a pair with a bases-loaded single that fell in front of the left fielder. E&H was unable to generate enough offense in its final two times at bat as CU claimed the 6-3 win.
