ROCK HILL, S.C. – With the conclusion of the 2024 regular season, the South Atlantic Conference has released its baseball all-conference teams. Emory & Henry College senior third baseman Jared Foley (Sparta, N.C.) has been selected to the All-SAC Second Team

Foley was 12th in the conference and led the E&H squad with a batting average of .366. He also led the team in hits (68), runs scored (31), doubles (13), triples (4), RBIs (32), stolen bases (9) and on-base percentage (.418). He recorded a 23-game hitting streak during the year, including a span where he hit safely in 32 of 33 games.
Foley had 22 games with multiple hits, including seven games with three hits or more. He set the program record for career hits with his 178th against Catawba. Foley also broke his own program mark for single-season hits (68) with a grand slam against Mars Hill.
Carson Boles of Lincoln Memorial University was selected as the SAC Player of the Year while Catawba College swept the other three awards. Catawba's Jim Gantt was named Coach of the Year, Payne Stolsworth was tabbed as Pitcher of the Year and Hayden Simmerson took home Freshman of the Year honors.
Emory & Henry posted an 11-38 mark on the year with a 6-24 record in conference play. The Wasps finished 13th in the league standings.
