MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Emory & Henry College Cheerleading Team picked up a fourth-place finish Friday night at Cheer Ltd. Nationals at CANAM. The event was held at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center.

While the Wasps were fourth in their division, they received no deductions and posted a score of 164, the highest possible for their routine.

Gannon University won the division while Limestone College was second and Appalachian State University took third. Each of these teams put larger squads on the mat, giving them a higher start value in both their technical and difficulty scores.  E&H was the only team in the competition to not receive a deduction.

Emory & Henry Cheerleading will close out its inaugural season on the weekend of Saturday, April 14 – Sunday, April 15 at JAMfest Sevierville Nationals in Sevierville, Tennessee. The E&H Dance Team will also be in action that weekend.
