SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. – The Emory & Henry College Dance Team completed the 2018 season on Sunday morning with a National Champion performance at JAMfest Sevierville Nationals held at the Sevierville Convention Center. The Wasps finish their inaugural competition season with three first-place performances.

E&H put up a score of 84.51 to win the Open Coed Hip Hop Division. The Wasps received no deductions, thereby posting the highest possible score for their routine.

With their National Champion finish, the Wasps earned an invitation to The U.S. Finals Cheer & Dance. This "Super National" level competition draws its field from teams that finish in the top three at a qualifier. E&H will forgo this opportunity this year due to the short amount of time remaining in the semester and the approach of final exams.
