EMORY, Va. - The Emory & Henry College Dance Team had its first outing since the spring of 2019, competing in the Dance Team Union - Virtual College Classic. The Wasps entry was one of six in the Hip Hop Division.

After a preliminary score of 76.00, the Wasps sat in sixth place in the division. In the second round, Emory & Henry improved its score by 1.18 points and moved into fourth for the final results, moving ahead of Henderson State University and Upper Iowa University.

Indiana University claimed the title with a score of 86.60 while St. Ambrose University was the runner-up (85.36). Baker College rounded out the top three, posting an 80.52.

With the result, Emory & Henry Dance concludes its fourth season as a varsity sport. As Pandemic restrictions lessen, E&H looks to have a more robust schedule both cheer & dance in the 2021-22 academic year.
