Intermont Equestrian IDA Team Sweeps The Awards At Home Sunday

BRISTOL, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IDA Team picked up its second team win of the year on Sunday at home. The Wasps also swept the individual honors on the day.

The Basics
TEAM PLACE – 1st/4
LOCATION – Bristol, Virginia
VENUE – Emory & Henry College Equestrian Center

First Level
Sophomore Lindsay Shaw (Newark, Del.) won the test with a ride of 71.429% while junior Emily Esposito (Virginia Beach, Va.) was third, scoring a 63.857%.

Upper Training Level
Senior Sofia Inchausti (Bloomsbury, N.J.) took first as she put up a 73.966% while junior Sydney Fryman (Oxford, N.C.) was third (60.862%).

Lower Training Level
Senior Makalyn Williams (Granville, Ohio) was the Lower Training champion, posting a 70.385% as freshman Kailey Levin (Cardiff, Calif.) was third at 63.654%.

Introductory Level
Junior Kinsey Shankles (Mascot, Tenn.) was the reserve champion with a score of 61.563% while senior Becca Pagnini (Beaverdam, Va.) took sixth on a ride of 56.875%.

The Awards
Emory & Henry scored a perfect 21 points to finish at the High-Point Team while the University of Virginia was the reserve team champion with 15 points.

Inchausti grabbed her third High-Point Rider of the Day honor in as many shows while Shaw was the Reserve High-Point Rider of the Day.

Dressage Seat Equitation
In first level, freshman Leonhard Zenneck (Grünwald, GERMANY) was second while freshman Nina Mostofo (Phoenix, Ariz.) was third and freshman Ava Harry (Wake Forest, N.C.) placed fourth.

Upper Training Level DSE saw freshman Sabrina Long (Ashburn, Va.) take fourth and freshman Amelia Moore (Klamath Falls, Ore.) was finish fifth.

Lower Training had freshman Lina Prillaman (Salem, Va.) finish second while freshman Meaghan Croteau (Sparks, Md.) take third.

Junior Kinsey Shankles (Mascot, Tenn.) was the reserve champion at Introductory DSE while freshman Brianna Wagner (La Vernia, Texas) and freshman Elizabeth Mudlaff (Chevy Chase, Md.) took third and fourth, respectively.

Up Next
Emory & Henry will close out the fall IDA season on Saturday, November 20 at Virginia Tech.
