Intermont Equestrian IDA Team Earns Win At Virginia Tech Saturday

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IDA Team closed out the fall portion of its season on Saturday, picking up its third win of the year at Virginia Tech.

The Basics
TEAM PLACE – 1st/4
LOCATION – Christiansburg, Virginia
VENUE – Flanigan Stables

First Level
Sophomore Lindsay Shaw (Newark, Del.) started the day with a win, scoring a 75.143%.

Upper Training Level
Senior Sofia Inchausti (Bloomsbury, N.J.) was third on a ride of 73.276%.

Lower Training Level
Senior Makalyn Williams (Granville, Ohio) posted a 75.577% to win the level.

Introductory Level
Senior Becca Pagnini (Beaverdam, Va.) was the reserve champion after a 75.000% performance.

The Awards
Emory & Henry scored 19 points to finish at the High-Point Team, edging the University of Virginia (18 points).

UVA's Scout Bale was named the High-Point Rider of the Day while Williams' win at Lower Training earned her Reserve High-Point Rider of the Day honors.

Dressage Seat Equitation
In first level freshman Ava Harry (Wake Forest, N.C.) was second while freshman Leonhard Zenneck (Grünwald, GERMANY) took third.

Upper Training Level DSE saw freshman Sabrina Long (Ashburn, Va.) finish fourth.

Lower Training had freshman Meaghan Croteau (Sparks, Md.) take third.

Freshman Elizabeth Mudlaff (Chevy Chase, Md.) picked up a win at Introductory.

Up Next
Emory & Henry will return to action in the New Year.
