Intermont Equestrian IDA Team Wins At Home Saturday

E&H IDA Team after Saturday's home win.

BRISTOL, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IDA Team scored the maximum possible points as it picked up a win on Saturday at home. The Wasps also swept the individual honors.

The Basics
TEAM PLACE – 1st/4
LOCATION – Bristol, Virginia
VENUE – Emory & Henry College Equestrian Center

First Level
Sophomore Lindsay Shaw (Newark, Del.) took first place for the team with a score of 71.429% while junior Emily Esposito (Virginia Beach, Va.) was second at 69.429%.

Upper Training Level
Senior Sofia Inchausti (Bloomsbury, N.J.) also grabbed a win on a ride of 74.310% while junior Sydney Fryman (Oxford, N.C.) placed third(67.414%).

Lower Training Level
Senior Makalyn Williams (Granville, Ohio) won her test, scoring a 70.192% with freshman Kailey Levin (Cardiff, Calif.) taking second at 68.840%.

Introductory Level
Senior Becca Pagnini (Beaverdam, Va.) completed the sweep for E&H as she won with a score of 70.000%. Freshman Kinsey Shankles (Mascot, Tenn.) was second in 67.188%.

The Awards
Emory & Henry scored a perfect 21 points to finish at the High-Point Team while Virginia Tech was the reserve champion team with 12 points.

Inchausti was named High-Point Rider of the Day while Shaw was the Reserve High-Point Rider of the Day.

Dressage Seat Equitation
In first level, freshmen Ava Harry (Wake Forest, N.C.) and Leonhard Zenneck (Grünwald, GERMANY) were first and third, respectively.

Freshman Amelia Moore (Klamath Falls, Ore.) was third in Upper Training while freshman Meaghan Croteau (Sparks, Md.) and freshman Lina Prillaman (Salem, Va.) were third and fourth, respectively in Lower Training.

Freshman Elizabeth Mudlaff (Chevy Chase, Md.) won at Introductory while freshman Brianna Wagner (La Vernia, Texas) was second.
