Intermont Equestrian IDA Team Wins At Virginia Tech Sunday

E&H IDA Team after winning at Virginia Tech.

CHRISTIANSBURG, Va. – The Intermont Equestrian at Emory & Henry College IDA Team earned its second win in as many shows on Sunday, picking up a victory at Virginia Tech.

The Basics
TEAM PLACE – 1st/4
LOCATION – Christiansburg, Virginia
VENUE – Flanigan Stables

First Level
Freshman Eleni Kangas (Frankford, Del.) was fourth in the level while junior Lindsay Shaw (Newark, Del.) took sixth place.

Upper Training Level
Senior Sydney Fryman (Oxford, N.C.) claimed the victory with her ride.

Lower Training Level
Sophomore Kailey Levin (Cardiff, Calif.) was the reserve champion.

Introductory Level
Senior Kinsey Shankles (Mascot, Tenn.) posted a fourth-place finish  

The Awards
The Wasps won the day, scoring a team total of 15 points.

Fryman was the Reserve High-Point Rider of the Day thanks to her win in Upper Training.

Dressage Seat Equitation
Sophomore Ava Harry (Wake Forest, N.C.) was first at First Level.

In Upper Training, junior Kiley McGuinness (West Chester, Pa.) placed fourth.

In Lower Training, sophomore Scout Curry (Carmel, Calif.) took second place.

Sophomore Ellie Krzywda (Vienna, Va.) placed first at the Introductory Level.

Up Next
Emory & Henry's next IDA show is scheduled for Saturday, November 5 at home. The First Level Test will begin at 10:00 a.m.
